NO I'M NOT WASTING TIME!

Procrastination is not a flaw; it's a gift for those with an open mind. For the liberal mind, those that cannot procrastinate, seldom enjoy the thrill of a deadline, miss out on the small but significant things and become too consumed in their own masquerade.

The thing is that most people will probably look at this and vocally challenge what is being said, but deep down they know that it is true. If you do not procrastinate, you get more done yes, BUT when you get more done you will get more to do. This will lead to your life being so busy that you do miss out on things. The things that you think that are important is normally just the things that you think you must have to be happy. Is this a true indication of what we really want in life? Is your career everything? Must your family always come first? Do you really need to lose those 10kgs even if you look like you haven’t eaten anything in two months. I procrastinate because I have missed out on life. Yes one can still be busy, that does not mean that you do not procrastinate. Are you afraid of waking up one day and discovering that you are bored? I know I am, that is why I try to do as much as possible. That still doesn’t mean I’m not procrastinating.

Procrastination is a fine art that we learn in the early stages of our lives. Yes the young ones are the best at procrastination. Why? They want to do what they like doing first! Why do we forget about what we like to do? I am in no way encouraging you to leave everything and do nothing, I am merely encouraging you to make time for yourself.
